Tim Faulkner and son Billy with a Manning River Turtle
Join TV personalities Tim Faulkner and Dan Rumsey from the Australian Reptile Park at the Manning River Turtle Project 2018 launch in Wingham, hosted by the Manning River Turtle Conservation Group.
Tim and Dan will make presentations on the Manning River turtle and Aussie Ark. They will outline their plans to create an insurance population of the turtle, similar to the captive breeding program of the Bellinger turtle by Taronga Zoo and Symbio Wildlife Park.
A nationwide crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to help build a facility for the project is being launched on the night.
